May is a month full of events

26th AirExpo meeting

Every year, the month of May traditionally brings a large amount of activities from students unions and associations. And May 2012 respects that tradition !
Early in the month, a team of ENAC students will take part in France’s Gliding Championship, which will take place at  Buno -Bonneveaux (91).
On May 11th, for the 3rd year, the stage of the « Bikini », our well-known Toulouse concert hall, will host Turbulences, the Rock festival organized both by the ENAC and the ISAE Students, featuring Nasser  with its vitriolic electro music, Transgunner, with its electric rock music, a band which was discovered during the“ 2011 Printemps de Bourges”, and Air Bag One, a band from Paris playing electro indie-rock music, softly mixed with pop music.
On the following day, May 12th, the 26th AIR EXPO meeting will be run on the airfield of Muret Lherm (31). This air show is both organized by the ENAC and the ISAE students and remains the major air exhibition in the south west part of France : every year, thousands of visitors come to attend high quality and impressive air performances.
From May 16th to 19th, a team of ENAC students will take part in the 19th France’s Cup of robotics in La Ferté Bernard (72). This is a contest where several ENAC teams were already awarded a prize in the past years.
From May 17th to the 20th, other ENAC students will organize and take part in the 42th Gliding meeting of the French Aeronautical Grandes Ecoles. About one hundred  gliding fans from the ENAC, the ISAE, the French « Ecole de l’Air “ and  the ESTACA will meet on the airfield of Auch-Lamothe (Gers) during 4 days.
Still in May you’ll be able to meet “the ENAC” at the « Journée d’Information des Métiers de l’Aéronautique » held in Montpellier (34) on May 3rd 2012, then at the « Forum des métiers de l’Aéronautique » in Narbonne (11) on the 11th, at the « Rassemblement International des Hydravions » in Biscarrosse (40) from the 17th to the 20th, and at the « meeting aérien de La Ferté Alais » (91) on May 26th and 27th.
And on May 10th, stakeholders and representatives from about 20 aeronautical companies will meet our students on the university campus during the “Journée ENAC/Entreprises” , held for the 7th time.
